This collection of silk and faux silk patterns
combines the opulence of lustrous backgrounds with exquisite
embroideries! Alsmeer Fantasy is the only faux silk in the
grouping, but has the characteristics of textured silk. It features
large embroidered iris atop a swirling vine pattern. Ansley is a
shimmering silk that has been adorned with a bountiful spring vine
bursting with exotic blossoms. Finally, we conclude with the group’s
show stopping design, Pappagallo! A topical paradise has been
captured on this 100% silk ground design. Rainforest parrots cavort
through the jungle’s flora and fauna! This theme-setting collection of
elegant introductions is poised to captures hearts of old and young

The Westgate and Payne brands have always been known for their crewel patterns. With fashion trends once again calling for these time honored classics, we have tried to introduce a new crewel pattern into our offerings for the past two seasons. This time we have found a true “shining star” design in our next introduction Jaipur. When our design studio found this pattern at the Frankfurt Heimtextil exhibition last January they immediately went to work altering the design for the Payne brand. Additional stitches were added to the crewel embroidery, and we specified a tea-washed finish to obtain a mellower antique flavor for the pattern. What you see today is the result of these changes. Jaiupr is surly destined to become a Payne classic! Imported from India exclusively for Payne!

This wonderful chenille texture is a perfect coordinate for so many design projects. When our studio discovered this pattern at the Decosit fabric exhibition in Brussels last year, they committed for the design immediately. Color work was done to our specifications, and we are now proud to introduce Park Avenue. Park Avenue is a Payne exclusive imported from Spain.

This collection of Payne exclusive prints, woven coordinates and coordinating sheer are all based on archival documents! Several of the prints were actually taken from woven upholstery patters to create true multi-purpose products. Based on the charm of the English countryside, the collection is richly colored and the coordination is more a correlation of colorways than a straight match of color palettes. The prints are shown on a heavy textured cotton that replicates and English Union cloth. The theme-setting floral is simply called Derbyshire. A dramatically scaled stripe, Grand Derbyshire Stripe, is the perfect accent for this floral. A trailing vine, Derbyshire Garden is a great mid-scale print. Minii prints are always good and Derbyshire Scroll (not on website) is no exception! The faux wovens in the grouping are Derbyshire Check and Derbyshire Stripe. The woven diamond, Derbyshire Diamond, coordinate is also 100% cotton and features seven lush colorations and the coordinating Derbyshire Illusion (not on website) sheer is an intimate blend of polyester and linen. All patterns are imported exclusively from Spain for Payne!

Payne has always been known for its exclusive print designs. This season we are pleased to introduce two beautiful new introductions from our design studio. Printed in Como, Italy for Payne exclusively these lovely prints will grace any home into which they are placed! Geranium Garden is one of the most exquisite floral prints we have seen in some time (if we do say so ourselves). Rich colors are the hallmark of this incredible print. This richness and depth of color penetration is truly an Italian work of art! Offered in one botanical coloration! Cayman Isle fits the bill for many room settings. Seaside designs are always in demand, with the recent resurgence in popularity of sea coral as a design motif for home furnishing products this print should be popular with designers and their customers alike! We show this in a natural red coral combination and in a topical blue coloration as well! Both patterns are printed atop lush 100% cotton groundcloths. Payne exclusives that will surely have heads turning!
